Having a hard time potty training your pup? Coziwow by Jaxpety Indoor Grass Portable Pee Turf Patch Dog Potty Trainer Pad features synthetic turf that looks like the grass your pal naturally wants to relieve himself on, so no training is required. This potty trainer has three layers—the liquid seeps through the synthetic grass, down to the grid tray, and to the bottom tray which prevents the liquid from pooling on the mat and soiling it. This liquid collection method keeps your pal’s paws dry and helps minimize odor. The layers come apart for ease of cleaning—simply rinse it with water! It can be an ideal addition to tight living spaces, such as apartments, dormitories, or even on balconies. This piece can also double as a doormat, which can be a helpful way for you to make sure your fur baby doesn’t track in water or debris from your outdoor adventures!

To aid with success of using Pet Turf always try to keep it in the same location. That way your pet will become familiar with the area.
When training your dog, always remember to take your pet outside upon their waking, after meals and a few hours in between. Puppies or dogs that are not housebroken need to be watched closely. When it’s time to go, your pet might stop the current activity only to start sniffing around, this should tell you that your pet needs to go to the bathroom. Quickly pick up your dog and use a code word or short phrase and keep it consistent each time. Place your dog on Pet Turf and let your pet sniff the Grass Mat. Wait until your dog goes to the bathroom. Clean up.
When training your puppy to use the Pet Turf, always use to positive reinforcement: food treats, praise, petting, or a favorite toy. The reward must occur immediately or your pet may not associate it with the proper action. Each time you reward your pet, include a praise as well. You can say something like “Good dog” in a positive, happy tone of voice. Your praise or reward makes your pet more likely to repeat that behavior in the future. Be consistent and always reward desired behavior and never reward undesired behavior.
By urinating, your dog will mark its territory and after a few uses should know to go to the bathroom in that area.
Check contents of Base Tray regularly. Keep it clean.
After a couple of washes/uses, you may notice that the Grass Mat might fray at the edges. It is normal and will not damage the product.
Pet Turf is not a substitute for regular walks to the bathroom and should be done for training purposes only, unless your dog is not well and unable to go outside on it’s own.
The three layers can be easily dissembled for easy cleanup. Just clean it with water rinse.
